
Senior Software Analyst

We are seeking a diligent and problem-oriented Senior Software Analyst to join our Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) solution development team. This role primarily focuses on expanding and enhancing our patch management solution by adding and maintaining support for a variety of applications. You will contribute directly to improving system security, reliability, and efficiency.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Analyze, evaluate, and add support for new software applications within our patch management framework.
- Conduct research on various applications to understand their installation methods, dependencies, and update mechanisms, primarily within Windows operating environments.
- Implement web crawling and scraping solutions to gather necessary application-related data and automate update checks.
- Troubleshoot issues related to application patches, dependencies, and compatibility.
- Continuously improve and optimize existing solutions, workflows, and scripts for reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure robust and secure integration of new features.
- Contributes to Cybersecurity Platform
WHAT YOU BRING
- Solid experience with Python programming, including scripting and automation.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, user-space application installations, configurations, and update processes.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment practices, including working knowledge of vulnerability databases (e.g., CVE, NVD) and proficiency in researching existing vulnerabilities.
- Understanding of web-crawling and scraping techniques to extract relevant data efficiently.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a proactive and persistent attitude towards challenges.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring thoroughness in research and implementation tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to clearly document technical procedures and processes.
