Main Duties and Responsibilities
They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as aBuyer responsible for the execution of Tactical Procurement Activities within the global manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Execution of Tactical Procurement Activities such as Purchase Order (PO), Purchase Requisition (PR) and Request for Quotation (RFQ)within the division as a Subject-Matter-Expert, in alignment tothe company's growth and MRP requirements
- Execute sourcing strategy by means of ensuring proper monitoring of market movements to support the various Product Line
- Ensure healthy level of inventory management
- Influence interface partners to ensure strategic cost savings with suppliers to ensure optimal company profits
- Ensureefficient work partnership with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, R&D, Quality and Factory Assembly teams etc. to mitigate supply assurance or delivery issues.
Candidate Profile
Work location: Singapore
- Minimally Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Engineering or related studies
- Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in Buyer / Purchaser / Procurement Executive positions, preferably with good exposure to High Tech / Manufacturing operations
- Excellent in multi-tasking as well aswritten, communication & negotiation skills
- Displays strong diplomatic and team player personality
- Excellent proficiency in SAP ERP systems and MS Office suite will be advantageous
