- Develop analytics strategy for MOE Internal Audit (IA), and harness data across MOE IA Family and Whole-of-Government (WOG) to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness • Support the Chief Internal Auditor in maintaining oversight of all IA transformation initiatives, including reviewing performance, identifying opportunities and responding to gaps • Spearhead cross-agency innovation initiatives within the MOE IA Family, assist in IA process optimisation, and leverage emerging technologies to improve data analytics capabilities and information sharing across the MOE IA Family, using tools and WOG systems to improve IA work • Review and enhance the current governance framework, including developing the annual State of Governance scorecard and implementing advanced audit data analytics within the MOE IA Family • Manage outsourced IT audits and analytics services for MOE IA Family
- Background in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, or related disciplines • At least 3 years of experience in data strategy and analytics or related roles • Competent in a variety of data analytics tools such as SQL, R, Python and/ or Tableau • Strong project management and interpersonal skills to engage different stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good written and verbal communication skills • Self-driven, results oriented and meticulous individual • Experience in audit, knowledge of business processes and/ or machine-learning techniques would be an advantage • Experience with the suite of government analytics tools, and those of Government Commercial Cloud would be an advantage In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 3 weeks of the close of the application window.
