- Carry out flood operations/deployments in a rotating shift system to keep public out of harm's way during any heavy rain events • Conduct routine inspection/surveillance along drainage system for enforceable offences such as fishing, unauthorised entry into waterways etc • Attend to/investigate drainage related feedbacks along public drains and waterways • Attend and manage customer feedback pertaining to drainage matters • Carry out handing over inspections for newly completed drainage projects by PUB or external developers • Response and investigate drainage incident/crisis such as water pollutions • Carry out routine inspections of drainage network system within flood sensitive areas • Supervise contract administration and manage the contractors, including site inspection of the contractor's work
- Diploma in Civil/Structural/Environmental Engineering or equivalent • Candidates with relevant experience in operations and maintenance of the drainage network are preferred • Able to perform shift work including weekends (shift hours: 0600-1530hrs; 1000-1930 hrs) • Comfortable to work outdoors and under rainy conditions • Problem solver with positive attitude, resourceful and proactive • Able to work independently and in a team effectively • Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence
