Job Description:Oversees all aspects of field construction of small projects or maintenance works in existing pharmaceutical plant including direction of construction specifications, budgets, quality and schedules.Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for construction and contractor related deliverables.
  • Supervises all related construction works on small projects or a subset / discipline area on larger projects.
  • Responsible for management and execution of a single field discipline or subset of assigned construction projects in accordance with the requirements of the contract between the company and the client, and in accordance with the company's operating policies and principles.
  • Responsible for the execution of the work in accordance with quality standards and requirements specified for the project
  • Manages and controls project cost and schedule of assigned discipline / subset of site construction. Utilize Commercial processes to capture variations effectively.
  • Management of installation, commissioning and completion activities for facilities and equipment.
  • Ability to monitor work progress and report against plan.
  • Ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities and accountabilities have been defined and communicated to workers engaged within their areas of control.
  • Initiate safety, quality and environmental processes within their areas of control, including toolbox meetings, inspections, and the identification, assessment and control of risks in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Understand and manage the industrial relations environment impacting the site and report any issues as required.
  • Works with engineering in the design phases to influence the design for optimum constructability.
Qualifications:Qualification :
  • Relevant technical qualification.
  • Relevant WSH certification in managing construction work.
Knowledge, skills and Experience :
  • Appropriate level of field construction experience, typically gained through a minimum of 5 years experience in relevant industry.
  • Experience in projects and maintenance works in healthcare, cleanroom, pharmaceutical industries.
  • Knowledge and experience in cGMP and CQV process.
Personal attributes :
  • Well organized, observant, good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Display both good judgement and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to work with timelines/targets.
  • Ability to be assertive and drive culture change when required.
  • Excellent interpersonal organizational, communication and team building skills.
