Campari Group is today the sixth-largest player worldwide in the premium spirits industry.Position Context and MissionIn the last years Campari Group business has delivered steady growth, thanks to a strategy based on 50% organic growth and 50% on external growth, with over 30 acquisitions in the last 25 years, two of which were in 2022 and the largest, Courvoisier, in early 2024.Our Global Supply Chain is supporting growth through investments in capacity increase and ensuring the smoothest integration of newly acquired companies' operations into our Supply Chain organization.The recent challenges in the global spirit markets have increased the focus on cash and productivity and therefore contract manufacturing is required, to ensure the best overall network: utilizing make and buy, granting a higher level of flexibility and facilitating Campari owned plants to operate more efficiently.Within this context, the Regional Head of Contract Manufacturing has a three-fold mission:
- Ensure that the scouting, contracting, onboarding, operating and exiting of contract manufacturers in their region is efficient and timely to facilitate the pace of growth required by the business.
- Develop a network of strategic relationships to deliver the contract manufacturing needs of now and the future.
- Drive performance and continuous improvement of the contract manufacturers in their region to ensure a balanced scorecard performance at parity to Campari owned sites.
- Work with the global head of contract manufacturing to develop and implement the overall Global contract manufacturing strategy.
- Work with the regional supply chain lead to deliver the growth, innovation, cash and productivity needs of the region.
- Monitor a set of globally defined supply chain KPIs for the regional contract manufacturing, defining targets, identifying gaps and implementing improvement actions.
- Degree in scientific area (e.g., Engineering, economics, business administration)
- Leadership experience in a Supply Chain area with a broad SC background
- Strong knowledge and experience of manufacturing and/or procurement
- Strong financial acumen
- Proven capability to work across diverse cultures and languages
- Natural ability to build trust-based collaborative relationships and 'play' in multiple cross functional teams
- Highly accountable and fast paced
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
