- Assist with the receipt, accessioning, and tagging of new acquisitions.
- Support artefact movements for exhibitions, conservation labs, and storage facilities.
- Update collection information in digital systems
- Liaise with contractors and art handlers for artefact logistics, fumigation setup, and cleaning.
- Manage artefact handling during stocktake exercises and other inventory projects.
- Maintain the supply of packing and storage materials, sourcing vendors as needed.
- Assist in the digitization of acquisition documents and other archival activities.
- Perform preventive conservation checks on artefacts and storage areas.
- Assist in taking photographs using digital cameras (DSLRs)
- Assist in physical checking of new artefacts
- Supervise moving of artefacts from other locations
- Off-field inspection of artefacts & assist in supervision of movers
- Minimum 'O' level
- At least 1 years of relevant experience in the arts, logistics or operations field
- Basic artefact and artwork handling experience is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel).· Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable with lifting & handling artefact
- Comfortable in fast pace environment
- Able to handle items with care and precision
