What the role is:This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer in the School of Engineering.What you will be working on:Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:Involvement in developing curriculum, facilitating student learning, conducting assessment and performing tasks for modules related to Electronic and Computer Engineering, specifically in communication technology (networking/cloud/wireless networks), embedded systems, programming, microelectronics, and artificial intelligence.Spearhead and identify new opportunities and collaboration with industry.Work on industry or consultancy project to stay relevant in your profession.Support student development in the area of education.What we are looking for:Relevant qualification in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering / Microelectronics, with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience in product design/development/manufacturing.Passionate about education and possess strong interest in nurturing, teaching, mentoring and interacting with students.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team.About Ngee Ann Polytechnic:At Ngee Ann Polytechnic, our nine academic schools offer over 40 full-time diplomas to a growing student population of more than 15,000.
