What the role is:Strategic Systems Department (SSD) spearheads the development and operation of strategic pan-NEA systems in support of NEA's operational objectives by leveraging Whole of Government (WOG) or best-in-class technology. SSD also governs and manages key sensor networks to support NEA's operational resiliency and transformation in alignment with WOG initiatives.What you will be working on:You will be part of the Sensor Systems Branch to manage the technological refresh and daily operation of the Air quality Management System (AQMS). Successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support and fulfil the following:
  • Development, implementation and maintenance of the fully operational AQMS to ensure availability of end-to-end connections of the air quality sensors to the data management platform i.e. DECADA. This includes monitoring and tracking system performance, problem reporting and resolution process in accordance with the prevailing policies.
  • Sensor centralisation and governance in alignment with WOG's directives
  • Collaboration with strategic partners at WOG level through Project Commissioning Memorandum
  • Work process reviews for better service delivery and productivity
What we are looking for:Job Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of relevant working experience in the areas of project management or computer science. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Some experience with data management and Internet of Things (IoT) will be an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, working with Excel formulas and functions, developing creative PowerPoint presentations
  • Strong analytical skill & critical thinking, good presentation and writing skill
  • Ability to manage project timelines & tight deadlines, and work with other departments to ensure organisational strategic objectives are met
  • Good team player who is resourceful and able to work independently
  • Organised, meticulous and able to multi-task
