About the Company
Nexus Professional Academy (NPA) is a registered commercial school in Singapore, specializing in high-quality training across psychology, business, exam preparation, and language. As an accredited, one-stop training academy, NPA serves learners from diverse backgrounds, providing academic and skills-based programs designed to foster personal and professional growth.
The training academy is looking for a motivated, disciplined, a detailed oriented, conscientious, and responsible individual to take on the administrative assistant (part time) role.
Work Arrangement
- Start-up environment.
- Approximately 20 hours a week.
- Possibility of upgraded to full-time role.
- Monday to Friday.
- 3pm to 7:30pm.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Contact person for assigned programmes to coordinate and ensure smooth delivery of all assigned programmes.
· Ensure course materials are made available in a timely manner.
· Provide prompt and accurate information and updates to students and relevant stakeholders.
· Supporting Lecturers on admin matters.
· Ensure valid student status and attendance for all current students.
· Release of Examination information to current students.
· Organize and conduct orientation for new students.
· Prepare and disseminate confirmed start classes / start term information.
· Work closely with GM to resolve student issues.
· Process re-enrolment, re-exam, deferments, extensions, exemptions, programme transfer, withdrawal.
· Monitor attendance of students, administer warning letters / exam barring letters and provide monthly reports.
· Conduct regular class visits to understand student’s needs; engagement with parents / guardians to update on students’ progress.
· Conduct module evaluation; focus groups; student surveys.
· Support students on student portal, LMS and any other student support management system.
· Update and maintain student data in the Academy’s data management system.
· Monitor student payment of course fees.
· Process student refunds.
· Prepare examination nominal roll for Exam Unit.
· Assist GM in the running of events.
· Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the company from time to time.
Requirements
· Diploma in any field with 1 - 3 years of experience preferred.
· Prior experience in the Private / Education Industry is preferred.
· Meticulous and self-motivated with strong organisation skills.
· Possess good time management and administration skills.
· Able to work individually and as a team player with customer-oriented mindset and good communication skills.
· Able to work under pressure.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
