Platform Engineering Lead

Responsibilities
We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Platform Engineering Lead to shape internal infrastructure and tools, ensuring robust automation, scalability and system reliability.
- Define and drive the technical roadmap, prioritizing enhancements to the company’s platform and architectural framework;
- Empower technical teams by implementing self-service operations that reduce manual workloads and elevate productivity;
- Continuously optimize platform performance to meet operational needs and user expectations while ensuring a balance between innovation and stability;
- Oversee risk management, compliance, and security protocols across the platform;
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and cloud service providers to ensure seamless integration and service delivery;
- Maintain 24/7 operational performance in alignment with service level agreements;
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate a multidisciplinary team comprising DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and software development professionals;
- Engage in hands-on coding when needed, including scripting, infrastructure as code, and developing custom tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline;
- At least 10 years of experience in software development, application architecture and infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a technical lead or project management capacity;
- Track record of developing internal tools and automation solutions;
- Strong expertise in cloud architecture, preferably with AWS certifications;
- Strong grasp of security best practices, including zero-trust network access, identity & access management, etc.;
- Proficiency in modern programming languages;
- Ability to management projects and lead a small team.
