Key Responsibilities:
Coffee & Beverage Preparation:
- Prepare high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure consistent beverage quality and presentation, following café standards for taste, temperature, and presentation.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies to ensure the café is stocked and well-prepared during shifts.
Customer Service:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, taking orders and making personalized drink recommendations.
- Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction with their beverages and overall experience.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, providing solutions or escalating to a supervisor if necessary.
- Maintain a clean, friendly, and efficient service environment at all times.
Food Handling & Display:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of food items
- Keep food displays well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Ensure that food and beverages are served promptly and with attention to detail.
Café Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, seating areas, and overall café environment.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, countertops, and dining areas throughout the shift to ensure a clean and safe workspace.
- Follow proper hygiene practices, including handwashing and food safety guidelines.
Public Holiday & Weekends, outlet is closed = Off.
