Key Responsibilities:

Coffee & Beverage Preparation:

  • Prepare high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Ensure consistent beverage quality and presentation, following café standards for taste, temperature, and presentation.
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies to ensure the café is stocked and well-prepared during shifts.

Customer Service:

  • Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, taking orders and making personalized drink recommendations.
  • Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction with their beverages and overall experience.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, providing solutions or escalating to a supervisor if necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, friendly, and efficient service environment at all times.

Food Handling & Display:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of food items
  • Keep food displays well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Ensure that food and beverages are served promptly and with attention to detail.

Café Maintenance:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, seating areas, and overall café environment.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, countertops, and dining areas throughout the shift to ensure a clean and safe workspace.
  • Follow proper hygiene practices, including handwashing and food safety guidelines.

Public Holiday & Weekends, outlet is closed = Off.
