Responsibilities

  • Lead & manage a global program on development of alternate supply chain to meet future cost & capacity needs.
  • Work with all stake holders to ensure project milestones are met on time.
  • Support, lead, and manage the achievement of all business objectives, including technology and product requirements, cost reductions, product improvements, and problem resolutions.
  • Prepare Reports & present to all stakeholders the program status and goals
  • Apply Change, risk & resource management knowledge.
  • Assume responsibility for the project performance & aim to meet the assigned plan to develop new suppliers.
  • Manage risk profiles of all key suppliers and liaise with key stake holders on risk mitigation activities once risk is identified.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred.
  • 1 to 5 years of related industry experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience in contract negotiation, new product transfer/introduction, lead complex supplier management.
  • Experience in managing Supplier Risk Assessment projects is beneficial.
  • Knowledge in parts pricing, and supply market is a plus
  • Able to execute sourcing strategies that map to and support overall business strategies.
  • Should be proficient in MS office, business, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP system is a plus
  • Domestic and international travel may be required
