Our laboratory is growing rapidly and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based Sample Management Assistant to join our team. This position will work with a team to accomplish tasks and projects that are instrumental to the company’s success. Responsibilities

  • Specimen management task including: Tracking, receiving, unpacking, and scanning of diagnostic specimens into database.
  • Maintain specimen storage inventory.
  • Communicate sample discrepancies with internal teams and assist with problem sample resolution.
  • Prepare & coordinate shipments between Medpace & other labs; tasks include preparing airwaybill, pulling & packing of samples.
  • Attend inter-department meetings and review study materials to extract information for shipment document.
  • Mange couriers & external providers.
  • Maintain equipment temperature monitoring and respond to unit alarms. Perform equipment maintenance monthly.
  • Ad-hoc: Investigate and write CAPA reports, process improvement, new project leading.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any field;
  • At least 2 years of industry experience in related similar position;
  • Team-worker and detail-oriented with good time management skills;
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Experience in sample management, logistics or laboratory will be advantageous; and
  • Normal office work. 5 days work week from Monday to Saturday. Rotational Saturdays and public holidays.
