Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a highly reliable, scalable, low-cost infrastructure platform in the cloud that powers hundreds of thousands of enterprise, government, and start-up business and organizations globally.

AWS Global Demand Organization (GDO) is seeking an experienced full-stack software engineer intern to build the future with us.

As a part of AWS Marketing Technology, GDO provides solutions to support marketers to address diverse problems through technology solutions. We are running a strategic project which leverages AI to transform the traditional customer engagement into a personalized experience that makes it easy to onboard prospects and customers onto AWS.

Key job responsibilities

A successful Software Development Engineer (SDE) intern in our team needs to be self-motivated, able to quickly learn new concepts, and work in a highly collaborative environment. You will contribute across the software stack, including back end services, front end components, and applied machine learning. You will learn to develop, test, and deploy high quality, correct, and maintainable production software, along with the highest standards of operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Able to commit to a full-time internship from July to December 2025
• Expected graduation from December 2025 onwards
• Candidates must be able to legally work in Singapore
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, operating systems, algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis
• Knowledge of distributed computing systems such as microservices architecture, API design and development, web services, asynchronous processing, and consistency models
• Knowledge of Generative AI technologies such as prompt engineering, semantic search, and retrieval augmented generation
• Knowledge of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience with a front-end development framework such as React or Angular
• Knowledge of AWS technologies
