Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage Supervision Team including planning roster shift duties based on Contractor’s work schedules and oversee leave arrangements.
- Provide supervision services for all M&E works to ensure that contractors comply with contract/authorities'/agencies' requirements.
- Work with the QP(D) / QP(S) to resolve all design and technical issues arising from the construction of Temporary Works and Permanent Works.
- Review and comment on Contractors’ proposals, method statements and designs.
- Lead the REs and RTOs to check all drawings (including shop drawings, construction drawings) and specifications for discrepancies and to report to the QP(S), Contractors or the OIC.
- Overview of the quality system implementation, materials approval and compliance testing procedures
- Monitor project progress, coordinate with scheduler and propose measures to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor and report to the OIC and Contractors on quality, workmanship, WSH and aerodrome safety, security, housekeeping and stakeholder relationship issues of main contractors, sub-contractors and direct contractors/ suppliers at site.
- Carry out inspections and assist Client in taking over of completed works
- Coordinate and compile the As-Built information for record purposes in a timely manner
- Monitor the quality and progress of rectification works during the Defect Liability period of the Works.
- Ensure the efficiency of duty roster to manage the costs incurred by the team.
Requirements (M&E):
- Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as mechanical/electrical engineer, of which at least 8 years in airfield systems, utilities, fuel hydrant, building services, security systems etc.
- Possess a M&E Engineering Degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
- Proficient in contract administration with Public Service Sector Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC)
