Job Responsibilities
1. Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, providing product information and recommendations.
- Prepare and send quotations based on customer needs.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to improve sales performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and retention.
2. Sales Support:
- Generate and process quotations, delivery orders (DOs), and invoices.
- Assist in upselling and cross-selling relevant products and services.
- Follow up with customers to close sales.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to facilitate the payment process.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
3. Stock Management:
- Place orders and ensure timely delivery of stock.
- Assist with stock receiving, packing, and unpacking.
4. Administrative Duties:
- Prepare sales reports and other required documentation.
5. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Report issues and concerns to the supervisor or manager.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Education:
- ‘O’ Level or N-Level certificate (Secondary school qualification).
- A Diploma from a Polytechnic or Institute of Technical Education (ITE) is an advantage but not required.
2. Experience:
- Prior experience in the hardware or retail industry is preferred.
3. Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate with diverse customers.
4. Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email correspondence.
- Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to handle challenging situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Sales acumen, including upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- Willingness to learn and take on assigned tasks.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,200.00 - $3,000.00 per month
