Job Responsibilities

1. Customer Service:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, providing product information and recommendations.
  • Prepare and send quotations based on customer needs.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback to improve sales performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and retention.

2. Sales Support:

  • Generate and process quotations, delivery orders (DOs), and invoices.
  • Assist in upselling and cross-selling relevant products and services.
  • Follow up with customers to close sales.
  • Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to facilitate the payment process.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

3. Stock Management:

  • Place orders and ensure timely delivery of stock.
  • Assist with stock receiving, packing, and unpacking.

4. Administrative Duties:

  • Prepare sales reports and other required documentation.

5. Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Report issues and concerns to the supervisor or manager.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Education:

  • ‘O’ Level or N-Level certificate (Secondary school qualification).
  • A Diploma from a Polytechnic or Institute of Technical Education (ITE) is an advantage but not required.

2. Experience:

  • Prior experience in the hardware or retail industry is preferred.

3. Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate with diverse customers.

4. Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email correspondence.
  • Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to handle challenging situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Sales acumen, including upselling and cross-selling techniques.
  • Willingness to learn and take on assigned tasks.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,200.00 - $3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • Local Polytechnic Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

  • B2B sales: 1 year (Preferred)
