Responsible for the management of pharmacy equipment and systems in compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). This involves equipment commissioning, qualification, validation, calibration, maintenance, and handling changes or deviations.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment & Systems Management

  • Develop and execute equipment qualification and validation plans and protocols.
  • Conduct routine reviews of qualification and validation processes and documentation.
  • Ensure timely calibration and preventive/corrective maintenance of equipment.
  • Maintain an up-to-date equipment database, including master equipment lists, activity trackers, and records.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to schedule equipment-related activities with minimal operational disruption.
  • Manage procurement and servicing of equipment, including accessories, consumables, and service contracts.
  • Collaborate with IT, engineering, and other stakeholders to address system and equipment needs.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of pharmacy equipment, including planning for new acquisitions or replacements.
  • Manage inventory of equipment accessories and consumables.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to GMP, GCP, Good Documentation Practice, and other regulatory standards.
  • Comply with global and local policies, procedures, and quality agreements.
  • Review, update, and implement local standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in internal and external audits, addressing any quality-related concerns.

Operational & Support Activities

  • Handle change management processes for equipment modifications.
  • Investigate equipment deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support pharmacy operations, including equipment cleaning and environmental monitoring.
  • Assist in process validation activities as needed.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for pharmacy equipment and provide training to personnel.
  • Perform cross-functional tasks and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

  • Diploma or Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Systems.
  • Preferably with experience in equipment commissioning, qualification, and validation.
  • Experience in GMP, biomedical, or clinical research is advantageous.
