Job Description
- Manage day-to-day finance operation, accounting and banking activities of a portfolio of companies, both local & overseas, to deliver the financial stewardship
- Hands-on in preparation of consolidated financial reports for group & part of subsidiary companies in compliances with Company policies and SFRS standards.
- Liaison on corporate secretarial & legal matters
- Assist on cashflow management
- Liaise with external auditor & tax agent
- Liaise with Bankers and Financial Institutions on treasury, banking facilities
- Prepare GST reporting & filing
- Oversees AR & AP function, stock take
- Participate in budgeting & forecasting and sales & financial analysis
- Proactively document, review and suggest improvement to finance process and governance practices to stay effective and efficient
- Provide team leadership to guide and grow junior members
- Undertake assignments as and when required.
Job Requirement
- Minimum with 3- 5 Years of working experience in managerial positions is required for this position
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Post Graduate, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent Holding a CPA qualification will be an advantage.
- Strong in SFRS or IFRS knowledge, technically competent in accounting with working knowledge of financial control and corporate governance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Application especially in Ms-Excel & Ms-Word.
- Proficient with Sage Accounting Software is preferred.
- Meticulous and analytical, problem solver with a can-do attitude and a desire to excel
- A resourceful team player with strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to all levels.
