Facility Data Center Engineer (shift work) - PRIT
Monitor the data centre infrastructure 24x7 and promptly escalate issues to the relevant teams
- Respond to all operational incidents and perform remote requests within SLA
- Update all requests on the internal ticketing system
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes for incident, problem and change management
- Implement safety, security and customer support policies and procedures
- Coordinate and support contractors and vendors as well as inspect completed work
- Plan and support all preventive and reactive maintenance activities with minimal disruption to company services
- Participate and support internal and external audits for stakeholders and customers
Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in Computing, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in 24x7 DC or facility operations environment, freshers with relevant qualifications such as building services, mechanical engineering
- General knowledge of M&E and Network Critical Infrastructure
- Broad knowledge of DC facilities related systems experience.
- Detail-oriented team player who can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Prepared to be on 24x7 standby recall to provide extra manpower coverage when necessary
- Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule, which includes weekends and public holidays
- Basic + Fixed shift Allowance + Mobile allowance + Bonus+OT
- 8am-8pm, 8pm-8am Rotational shift
- 2 days working, 2 days off shift pattern
