
IT Infrastructure Manager - Network and Systems (PRIT)
Looking for a candidate with below skills
- In-depth experience in network & database infrastructure
- Experience in handling large volume of servers about 300-400 servers (on site & clouds based).
Responsibilities:
1. IT Infrastructure Planning and Management
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for IT infrastructure that align with the Company’s goals and objectives.
- Capacity Management: Monitor and ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of IT systems to meet current and future needs.
- Upgrades and Optimization: Plan for hardware and software upgrades to keep systems operationally efficient.
2. System Administration and Maintenance
- Oversee the maintenance and management of network infrastructure (IT & OT), servers, networks, storage, databases, and cloud systems.
- Ensure regular backups, updates, and patch management.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure system and associated services operate efficiently.
- Implementation and enforcement of operational IT procedures, policies and standards.
- Desktop/notebook computers support.
- Lead and provide operational support for servers (both on-premises and in Cloud) and network equipment across the organisation.
3. Security and Compliance
- Implement and enforce IT security measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., General Data Protection Regulation, ISO/IEC 27001).
- Conduct risk assessments and implement Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery
- Planning (DRP) and Cyber Security Incident Response Plan.
4. Team Management
- Lead and manage the IT infrastructure team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster collaboration between teams to improve workflows and resolve cross-departmental issues.
6. Network Management
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems.
- Ensure high availability and minimal downtime for critical network services and/or infrastructure.
7. Cloud and Virtualization
- Manage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and virtualized environments.
- Manage all data centers and server rooms.
- Ensure seamless integration of on-premises and cloud resources.
8. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, processes, and policies.
- Maintain up-to-date asset inventory and documentation of network equipment, servers and laptop/desktop.
- Provide regular reports on system performance, incidents, and improvements to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or relevant discipline.
- At least 8 years of Infrastructure and Operations experience
- In-depth knowledge of network administration, server management, virtualization, and cybersecurity.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Able to communicate clearly and confidently technical concepts to all stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
- Preferred certifications in “Office 365”, ITIL, MCSE, CCNA, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure).
