Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, project management processes, and construction methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and risk management skills.
  • Effective leadership, decision-making, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
  • Capable of handling high-pressure situations and meeting tight deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project planning, coordination, execution, and completion of civil and structural works.
  • Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely progress and milestone achievements.
  • Monitor project execution and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present project reports, highlighting status, challenges, and solutions.
  • Manage project variations, ensuring alignment with scope and contractual obligations.
  • Identify and resolve project-related issues, conflicts, and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control measures.
  • Attend site meetings with main contractors, consultants, architects, and clients.
  • Track construction progress, manage project claims, and follow up on approvals.
  • Coordinate with site staff, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Handle additional tasks as assigned to support project objectives.
