- Proficient problem-solving and leadership abilities.
- Hands-on expertise in sheet metal, structural platforms, and fabrication manufacturing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of welding, tube and pipe cutting and bending, structural design-to-build processes, painting, and general fabrication techniques.
- Competent in managing production planning, scheduling, and coordinating with external subcontractors.
The Assistant Project Manager will perform the following duties, among others:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and recommend solutions to keep projects on track.
- Serve as the primary liaison with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and address concerns.
- Oversee overall project and production functions.
- Facilitate coordination among departments, clients, inspectors, and contractors to ensure smooth project operations.
- Participate in the subcontracting and purchasing committee to select reliable contractors and suppliers, evaluating cost and delivery schedules.
- Manage contractual requirements for all projects, including payment terms and variation orders.
- Provide technical assistance and resolve issues in projects.
- Plan, organize, and assign tasks to project engineers and fabrication teams for specific projects.
- Manage the project's budget and ensure all cost-control measures are effectively implemented.
- Ensure all variation costs for out-of-scope works are properly captured and claimed.
- Strategize for the development of company facilities and conduct training for department personnel.
