  • Support smelting and extraction of precious metals (e.g., gold, silver) and ensure accurate chemical usage.
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment (e.g., furnaces) and report malfunctions.
  • Conduct quality control checks on samples, fusions, and prills, and maintain detailed records.
  • Assist in testing precious metals using XRF, ICP-OES, and fire assay methods, and monitor analytical processes for accuracy.
  • Ensure lab cleanliness, proper waste disposal, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Respond to emergencies and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Chemistry or its related field
  • Knowledge in safe handling of industrial chemicals.
  • Problem solving skills.
