We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a multi-year project to support the global transformation of finance reporting and the consolidation of data onto the Group's platform. The role involves close collaboration with Group Finance, vendors, and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with objectives and successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Group Finance, vendors, and regional teams to finalize requirements and map functionalities to align with Group objectives.
- Organize workshops with stakeholders to assess business needs and define project scope.
- Perform application impact analysis post-business workshops and ensure compliance with local and group expectations.
- Document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and obtain business validation.
- Translate business requirements into non-functional specifications for technology teams.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure smooth system transitions.
- Build and maintain a backlog of requirements, transformations, and adaptations for the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with development teams, solution architects, and application SMEs to design functional solutions.
- Prepare migration strategies, testing plans, and ensure formal validation from sponsors or product owners.
- Monitor project deliverables across teams in different regions, resolve challenges, and adhere to governance principles.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT system implementations within the Banking/Wealth Management industry.
- Strong expertise in Financial Accounting (transaction movements, accruals, reversals), Liquidity Management, Credit Risk Reporting (collateral management, counterparty risk), and Regulatory Reporting (e.g., Basel IV).
- Knowledge of core banking systems (e.g., Temenos/Transact) and loan/deposit lifecycle processes.
- Proven experience in delivering financial accounting and regulatory projects involving multiple sub-streams and source systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of performance/profitability indicators for bank-managed assets.
- Strong understanding of accounting/finance group reporting system implementation lifecycles.
- Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards across project phases.
- Excellent communication skills to conduct workshops, challenge requirements, and collaborate effectively across regions and teams.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills with problem-solving aptitude for complex challenges in financial services/banking environments.
- Experience working throughout the full IT project lifecycle (Elaboration → Build → Transition → Production).
