Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AV Sound System Designer with a strong understanding of sound systems for various applications, including corporate boardrooms, hybrid town halls, auditoriums, and high SPL environments like concert venues, theatres, and House-of-Worship spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and commission sound systems for diverse AV applications.
- Create conceptual line drawings to support audio system designs.
- Develop and present design proposals to assist the Sales team.
- Conduct product demonstrations and end-user training.
- Support project commissioning as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of sound system design and commissioning experience in the AV industry.
- Proficiency in audio acoustics simulation software (e.g., EASE, EASE Focus, Modeler, ArrayCalc, Soundvision, etc.).
- Strong audio DSP programming skills (e.g., QSys, Biamp, Extron, Xilica).
- Knowledge of unified communications, video conferencing, and loudspeaker management.
Certifications:
- Dante Level 1 certification.
- Certification in acoustical simulation software
- DSP programming certification (e.g., QSys, Biamp, Extron, etc.)
