You will be part of the budget & resource management team overseeing BCA's budget planning.

[What you will be working on]

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner assigned business units on all budget and resource management matters.
  • Contribute to annual and multi-year budget planning and prioritisation, and revenue forecasting exercises, MND-BCA block budget review
  • Evaluate business units’ budget requests, government funding proposals, and fee proposals
  • Collate and analyse budget returns, government cashflow requirements, and fee reviews from the business, and seek clarifications from Groups when necessary.
  • Prepare MND’s returns (e.g., annual budget, annual consolidated returns, fee review etc.)
  • Support daily budget operations and budget audit matters
  • Perform grant drawdowns for government funded projects and programs and monitor their budget utilisation rates.
  • Perform funds virement for deficient accounts
  • Prepare audit schedules
  • Support any other projects and duties as assigned, for e.g., process improvements initiatives (system related, budget evaluation)

[What we are looking for]

  • At least a degree in Business/Finance/Accountancy, or other equivalent qualifications.
  • At least two years of relevant working experience.
  • Meticulous and comfortable managing large datasets. Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office software is essential, with at least intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Committed and strong team player, but also able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work within tight deadlines.
