Position title : Documentation Supervisor/Manager - Agro Commodities
Location: Sommerset
Working Days: 5. 5 Day A Week
Working hours : 9:00am - 6:00pm ; 9:00am – 1:00pm
Salary : Up to $5k (depends experience)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Documentation Supervisor to join our Import and Export Department, specializing in agro commodities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all documentation processes related to the import and export of agro commodities. This role requires a keen attention to detail, a thorough understanding of international trade regulations, and the ability to coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth documentation workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Documentation Management:Supervise and manage the preparation, verification, and processing of all import and export documentation for agro commodities.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and relevant industry standards.
- Coordination and Communication:Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, procurement, and sales, to gather necessary information for accurate documentation.
Communicate effectively with external parties such as customs authorities, shipping agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance:Stay updated on changes in import and export regulations for agro commodities.
Advise the team on compliance requirements and implement necessary changes in documentation processes.
- Quality Control:Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all import and export documentation.
Implement corrective actions for any identified discrepancies or errors.
- Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline documentation processes and improve efficiency.
Implement best practices to enhance overall workflow within the department.
- Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of documentation professionals, providing guidance and training as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in international trade or supply chain management.
- Familiarity with agricultural supply chains and related documentation.
- Proven experience in import and export documentation, specifically for agro commodities.
- In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, INCO terms, and customs procedures.
- Hands on and familiarise with Focus/ERP software and related tools for document preparation.
