- Gather and prioritize requirements for internal Treasury system enhancements and upgrades.
- Work closely with technology teams to oversee the development, testing, and deployment of internal Treasury systems.
- Communicate financial risk and safeguarding requirements clearly and effectively to product teams, senior management, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate product teams on financial risk management, safeguarding principles, and compliance requirements, as well as internal systems usage.
- Stay current on regulatory changes and emerging risks related to safeguarding and financial risk management, as well as internal systems technology.
- Work closely with Product, Data, Financial Controlling, Legal, Compliance, and Network teams to ensure a holistic approach to financial risk management, safeguarding, and internal system development.
- Collaborate to optimize cash flows, margins, and data management systems while maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding and efficient internal processes.
- Define and oversee the structure and fund flows for holding customer money under local regulations, ensuring compliance and safeguarding, while also optimizing internal systems for these processes.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CTP, CFA, PMP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience, including significant time spent in both Finance/Treasury and Product Management roles. Experience in the payment services or fintech industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements related to safeguarding customer funds.
- Proven ability to translate financial requirements into product specifications and drive product development from a finance perspective.
- Experience as a product owner for internal systems development or upgrades, particularly in the context of finance or treasury management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between finance and product teams, and articulate complex financial and product concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess financial risks and drive product improvements.
