Improve the world and start as a Process Engineer at Vopak.What will you do as a Process Engineer?As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing feasibility study reports, basic conceptual design of storage, pumping, heating and loading/unloading operations for greenfield and brownfield projects to support business development.What do we offer you?A market-based salary depending on your experience and knowledge and attractive bonusesVarious growth opportunitiesWhat do we expect from you as a Process Engineer?Degree in Chemical Engineering (Chemical Process).Preferable to have experience in Terminal Operations or Chemicals plants or Oil & Gas industryMinimum 8 years of relevant experienceProject proficiency with Engineering and Operational background and experience in managing tank farm and similar projectsProject management skillsKnowledge of technical functional areas for better coordination and timely decision makingYour core responsibilities are:Contribute to the design of engineering solutions and processes; design the feasibility testing approach and supervise its implementation to support the development and validation of engineering solutionsDevelop feasibility study report for projectsPrepare conceptual design and basic process calculation and equipment ratingDevelop, configure and optimize processes, sizing & selection of equipment’s etc. for Tender from inception through to start upIntroduce new product technology that will increase safety, reliability and cost effectivenessFacilitate in Hazop Study for all projects and modificationEnsure process engineering and design execution follow Vopak Standards, Specification, Work ProcedureDetermine customer’s requirements and technical specificationsPrepare enquiry, tender document, technical evaluation & clarifications, and recommendationsAssist commercial and business development team in developing the business and financial model of new business opportunitiesWork with Engineering team on budgetary cost for projects and existing terminals revamp or expansionPrepare specifications and estimate costs for the proposed new, modifications, expansions projectsProduce basic conceptual design of storage, pumping and loading/unloading operationReview of vendor’s documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications and calculationsPrepare & Issue of RFQ’s, evaluation of vendor’s quotations, clarifications, technical bid analysis etcPrepare various engineering deliverables (Drawings & documents) such as process flow diagrams, P & I Diagrams, process datasheets, equipment specifications, cause & effect diagrams, control philosophies, shutdown philosophies, HAZOP studies & reports, operation & maintenance manuals etc. and providing necessary engineering inputs to other departmentsWork with respective parties on these reporting and documentationProvide process and operational training to terminal operator for new terminal operationPlan and participate in pre commissioning of new facility operationsInvolve in the PSSR and start-up of the new operationsEffective interface between the customer and Vopak from an operational/technical point of view before and during the projectProvide the necessary technical support for terminal O&M procurement, construction as required.Want to start as a Process Engineer at Vopak?We are interested in learning more about you.
