ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER
Your challenge:
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Assistant Finance Manager will support the company’s growing needs with respect to the accounting cycle. The incumbent will work closely with business unit leaders and the Finance Director to analyse business performance and financial analysis. The Assistant Finance Manager will also take part of the full accounting cycle.
Your responsibilities:
· Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual statements
· Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
· Process daily financial transactions, including AP, AR, following up with any discrepancies in a timely manner
· Manage AP, AR
· Prepare AR invoices for review
· Reconciliate general ledgers, as well as vendor statements
· Maintain internal financial controls and procedures
· Manage cash flow
· Support external audit
· Assist in the preparation of quarterly GST returns
· Provide support in the preparation of the annual tax returns
· Liaise with regulatory bodies, external consultant, banks, external auditor
· Other ad hoc /administrative tasks, reports and correspondence
What sets you apart?
· Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
· 3-5 years experience of relevant experience
· Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards
· Ability to work independently to meet tight deadline.
· Proficient in D365, MS office
· Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects/tasks
