Job Title: Build Manager (Elevator Solutions)

Location: Singapore

Job Summary

Newlift, a leading provider of premium home and commercial elevator systems, is seeking a Build Manager with a strong foundation in sales, complemented by working experience in building projects and exposure to architectural design processes.

This executive-to-mid-level role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, consultative sales environment and understands how elevators integrate within the broader building ecosystem. You’ll lead pre-sales consultations, technical scoping, and proposal development, working closely with clients, architects, and builders to secure and deliver tailored lift solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Acquisition & Solution Selling: Identify and pursue business opportunities with property developers, consultants, architects, and main contractors. Lead end-to-end sales engagements—from initial client meetings and site visits to proposal preparation, quotation, and contract negotiation.

• Builder Coordination: Work with contractors and site teams to ensure that elevator installations are technically viable and aligned with construction progress. Interpret and provide feedback on site plans, structural requirements, and installation timelines.

• Architectural Collaboration: Liaise with architects to align lift specifications with design intent. Provide practical recommendations on shaft requirements, finishes, and placement within the building blueprint.

• Pre-Sales Design Input: Provide early-stage design and build advice to clients, helping to scope lift requirements based on usage, building layout, and regulations. Collaborate with Newlift’s technical and operations teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy.

• Project Integration: Act as the bridge between sales, technical, and operations teams. Ensure handover of detailed project scope post-sales and track alignment throughout delivery.

• Market Development: Maintain industry awareness and provide insights to improve product offerings and sales strategy. Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders across architecture, construction, and property development.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Building, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in solution-based B2B sales, ideally in construction, elevator systems, or architectural products.

• Proven track record of managing long-cycle, high-value deals with multiple stakeholders.

• Familiarity with building plans, lift shafts, and relevant building codes/regulations.

• Strong understanding of building and construction project workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Prior hands-on experience with construction site coordination or building project management.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or architectural drawings.

• Network within the architecture, property, or construction industry in Singapore.

• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Bilingual ability (e.g., English and Mandarin) is a plus to liaise with various stakeholders.

Compensation

Competitive base salary with additional performance-based commissions and annual bonuses. Final compensation will depend on experience and sales performance history.
