POSITION PURPOSE
- The incumbent is responsible for meeting internal and external customers requirement, fulfillment of shipment, and responsible for the accuracy of inventory control. And to ensure the safety and housekeeping of the warehouse.
DIMENSIONS
- The incumbent is responsible to ensure on-time completing of warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule; receiving and processing warehouse stock products; performing warehouse inventory controls and compiling to Standards
NATURE AND SCOPE
1. Report Relationship – This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
2. General Department Overview – The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and communicating with Customer Service, Production & Sales to fulfill production and shipment requirements.
3. Area of Responsibility–
- Planning of manpower resources for warehouse activities
- Plan and allocate space for all inventory storage
- Coordinate with warehouse team for movement of all materials and distribution purposes
- Maintain records & proper documentation of all activities and processes in the warehouse
- Provide administrative support for daily order fulfilment to meet Production, Sales and Delivery requirement.
- Assist in data Entry of all inventories (raw materials, semi-finished, finished goods).
- Assist in tracking and updating inventory movement in SAP daily
4. Challenges of Position– This position requires an outward and positive personality and the ability to communicate with other department staff.
5. Communication Network – The incumbent is required to communicate with internal staff and external parties.
6. Measurement - The incumbent will be measured on the accuracy of shipment fulfilment and inventory accuracy.
7. Requirements –
- GCE ‘O’ Level/ SPM / ITE
- Two years of working experience in a logistics environment
- Team Leader / supervisory experience
- Hands-on experience on SAP or other related ERP and warehouse management system will be an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and word
- Accurate and meticulous in work
