We are looking for a Manager, Event Sales to join our team!

As a Manager, Event Sales, we rely on you to:

  • Responds to and manages wedding inquiries in accordance with corporate standards.
  • Prepares and presents wedding proposals and contracts.
  • Leads wedding sales efforts and conducts hotel tours for prospective clients.
  • Maintains and updates a detailed sales activities report.
  • Assists the Director of Event and Operations Management (DOEM) in preparing wedding business forecasts.
  • Takes ownership of the development and enhancement of wedding packages.
  • Promotes exclusive honeymoon offers from sister hotels.
  • Collaborates with the Assistant Director of Event and Operations Management (ADOEM) to optimize the utilization of function space and maximize revenue.
  • Manages wedding details, coordinating with clients and their wedding planners to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Provides expert advice on wedding planning, including menu recommendations and opportunities for upselling and cross-selling other hotel services.
  • Arranges food tastings for wedding clients prior to the event to ensure their expectations are met.
  • Prepares floor plans and handles all logistical coordination related to weddings.
  • Ensures all wedding payments are accurately processed in line with the hotel’s finance policies.
  • Conducts a thorough event handover, introducing wedding clients and planners to the banquet operations team on the event day.
  • Develops and implements sales strategies to promote Signature Weddings, aligning with the marketing budget.
  • Organizes and hosts the hotel’s wedding fair to boost business and enhance brand loyalty through positive guest experiences.
  • Manages the setup and presentation of the wedding showroom when allocated space is available.
  • Maintains and manages a comprehensive wedding customer database for referrals, future marketing efforts, and social events.
  • Stays up-to-date on wedding industry trends, customer preferences, new products, and competitor activities.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Manager specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
