Role

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Events Associate to join our team. This role supports the planning and execution of events, ensuring smooth coordination between vendors, clients, and internal teams. You will assist in research, scheduling, communications, and on-site event management. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating memorable experiences, especially for children and families, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Event Planning Support: Assist in planning and coordination, particularly in research, scheduling, and client communications.
  • Vendor Liaison: Help contact, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure event requirements are met.
  • Event Setup Assistance: Support event setup, ensuring decorations, seating, and activities are arranged according to plan.
  • Guest and Attendee Support: Ensure events run smoothly by attending to guests’ needs, particularly children and their guardians, to create a positive experience.
  • On-Site Execution: Assist with event execution, ensuring all elements align with the event plan and troubleshoot any issues as they arise.
  • Post-Event Coordination: Help with event breakdown and post-event reporting to improve future events.

What we're looking for

  • At least two years of experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in children's or family events.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to coordinate amongst multiple stakeholders as well as strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Must be good with kids and able to manage a group of children.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle time-sensitive tasks efficiently.
  • Passion for creating engaging and memorable events for children and families.
  • Must be available to work on weekends and public holidays as per event schedules.
