The Job

Candidate will be responsible to Provide supervisory and administrative support plus management support of transport service. Carry out specialised transport services and non-emergency health care for clients requiring transportation to and from medical facilities, nursing homes and their residence

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake the duties of driver
  • Load and unload residents/clients to the trolley or wheelchair and onto the transporter
  • Maintain the cleanliness and road worthiness of the transporter through daily checking of vehicle(s) performance of minor maintenance tasks on assigned vehicle(s) as required
  • Complete daily equipment checklist before duty starts
  • Maintain cleanliness and optimal condition of the transporter
  • Maintain proper records of the patients and service provided
  • Participate in Charity Events
  • Other Ad hoc Duties assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum GCE 'N' or ‘O’ Level
  • First aid and CPR trained
  • Valid class 3 driving licence
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred
  • Previous experience as a paramedic/medic an added advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to people of all levels
  • Ability to work independently as well as a good team player
  • Ability to speak a few languages or dialects will be an added advantage
  • Able to respond effectively and efficiently during an emergency
  • Enjoy working with volunteers
