
Full Time Student Care Supervisor
1. JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Plan, coordinate and oversee the various programmes, activities and facilities required for the provision of holistic after-school Student Care Service.
2. Plan and arrange various school holiday programme activities during the school holidays.
3. Handle SCFA (Student Care Financial Assistance) matters with Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF)
4. Handle Staff matters of the team (teachers and cook cum cleaners) and ensure services are provided when any team member is away
5. Handle all administrative matters -- enrolments, fee collections, subsidy applications, liaison with parents etc. Must be tech savvy.
6. Conduct regular meetings with the staff for discussion of any issues/feedback and to fine tune things immediately if necessary. Facilitate Weekly Character-Building Activity for the students.
7. Monitor and approve groceries required for the kitchen:
8. Keep track of students’ behaviour, academic progress and help the students and teachers in resolving any issues.
9. Provide counselling for the teachers and students as and when required. Take over classroom management/teaching as and when teachers are away on Annual leave or Sick leave.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 GCE 'O' Level (with credit in English) or higher with at least 1-2 years’ supervisory experience in a Student Care Centre.
- Good team player with leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for nurturing children and inspire and guide them.
- Resourceful in planning activities that can engage the children.
