The impact you will have in this role:Being a member of the Global Event Marketing team, the Senior Event Marketing Specialist, the Global Event Marketing is responsible for managing and executing tradeshows, conferences and client events for the enterprise and core businesses, including all SIFMU businesses. The Senior Associate contributes to communications and thought leadership campaigns and works cross-functionally with members of Corporate Event Marketing, Global Marketing, Corporate Communications, Industry Relations and Relationship Management teams.What You'll Do
  • Plans and executes an integrated approach to Corporate Events including financial industry conferences, client events, and employee events, including executive events.
  • Manages all logistical aspects of tradeshows, conferences and client events, including marketing materials, budget, exhibit stand and staffing, and acts as primary liaison with event organizers, speakers and vendors.
  • Works with team regarding post-event evaluation and reporting.
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend speaking opportunities for DTCC executives and position executives as industry thought leaders.
  • Coordinates logistical management of DTCC sponsorships and speaking opportunities for DTCC executives.
  • Manages on-line event registration software and promotes use of other automated tools.
  • Oversees and coordinates research for corporate calendars and 3rd party websites on Event Marketing activities.
  • Supports the Director with project management, reports, events and special assignments, closely coordinating with the Event Marketing.
  • Partners with other areas of Marketing and Communications to ensure alignment of communications/messages. Ensures that all messages and positions are aligned with the DTCC global brand strategy and maximize exposure and value of events.
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:
  • Corporate/Professional conference planning experience
  • Excellent customer service/client interaction skills
  • Experience in marketing, branding and lead generation.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and to meet tight deadlines
  • Detail oriented and self-directing
