Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage utility and service works for road construction projects, including diversions and relocations.
- Serve as the primary liaison with relevant authorities, agencies, and utility service providers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure all utility services and diversion works meet regulatory standards and project specifications.
- Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of utility diversion and installation activities.
- Track and monitor project progress, ensuring completion within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Prepare, review, and approve technical documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications related to utility works.
- Provide guidance and support to site teams to resolve utility-related issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during utility work and road construction.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation to authorities for project approvals and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in road construction and coordination of utility and services/diversion works.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineer (PE) Board or equivalent qualifications accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as a Resident Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of utility systems, service coordination, and road construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with authorities, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of resolving problems in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with local regulations, safety standards, and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant engineering software.
