We are looking for two experienced and committed Utility Engineers to join our team. The selected candidates will be responsible for coordinating utility and service works, including diversions and managing communication with relevant authorities and agencies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage utility and service works for road construction projects, including diversions and relocations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with relevant authorities, agencies, and utility service providers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure all utility services and diversion works meet regulatory standards and project specifications.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of utility diversion and installation activities.
  • Track and monitor project progress, ensuring completion within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Prepare, review, and approve technical documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications related to utility works.
  • Provide guidance and support to site teams to resolve utility-related issues efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during utility work and road construction.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation to authorities for project approvals and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in road construction and coordination of utility and services/diversion works.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineer (PE) Board or equivalent qualifications accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as a Resident Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of utility systems, service coordination, and road construction methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with authorities, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with local regulations, safety standards, and quality control processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant engineering software.
