Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to oversee and coordinate road construction projects, ensuring efficient stage diversions and smooth execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supervision and planning within the local infrastructure sector, with a strong focus on maintaining project timelines and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage construction stage diversion plans for roadworks, ensuring all phases are carefully planned and executed.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams, contractors, and authorities to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Identify potential risks and deviations from the project plan, providing solutions to address challenges and keep the project on track.
- Prepare detailed reports, schedules, and presentations for stakeholders to communicate project status and milestones.
- Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant local supervision experience in planning stage diversions for road construction projects.
- Education: Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board or qualifications accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for Resident Engineer registration.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project scheduling, and local regulatory standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
