
Manager (Integration) – Electrical Engineering
Position Overview:
As a Manager (Integration) – Electrical Engineering, you will be responsible for the integration, validation, and optimization of electrical and electronic subsystems within TVS Motor’s next-generation two-wheelers, including HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and IoT-enabled systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless hardware, firmware, and system integration, ensuring compliance with regulations, industry standards and enhancing vehicle performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Electrical System Integration & Validation
- Lead integration of electrical, electronics and connected systems into TVS Motor’s product lineup.
- Ensure seamless interoperability of electronic control units (ECUs), sensors, and IoT devices in the vehicle architecture.
- Conduct electrical system validation, compliance testing, and debugging of electronic circuits.
2. Product Development & Design Optimization
- Support the design-for-manufacturing (DFM) process for electrical subsystems,ensuring efficient production and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to enhance electrical design, energy management, and connectivity.
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams on electrical component selection, prototyping, and quality assurance.
3. Testing & Standards Compliance
- Conduct functional and environmental testing of electrical & electronics systems, ensuring compliance with automotive and industrial standards.
- Work with regulatory bodies and internal compliance teams to meet EMI/EMC, RF, and safety requirements.
- Assist in failure analysis and root cause identification, implementing corrective actions for design improvements.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Technical Program Management
- Partner with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure holistic vehicle integration.
- Support the industrial instrumentation, monitoring, and automation aspects of vehicle development.
- Manage technical documentation, test reports, and integration roadmaps to ensure traceability and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical Engineering.
Work Experience:
- Prior experience in electrical or electronics engineering in the automotive industry.
- Experience in HMI system development, RF engineering, industrial instrumentation, and IoT.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of analog/digital electronic circuit design and RF system integration.
- Experience in mechatronics, automation design, and IoT-based monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with design-for-manufacturing (DFM), compliance testing, and automotive standards.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment with cross-functional teams.
