Technology Risk Specialist
We are seeking out for an individual passionate about technology risk and has the skillset to help us assess technology related risks surrounding business applications and processes. One can look forward to working with industry professionals in Infrastructure, Security Operations, Application developers as they work on maintaining and securing our IT environment and to ensure continuity of our business services to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Work extensively with Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Process Owners to create and improve policies and procedures to promote continuous improvement and the best practices
- Coordinate and facilitate self-assessment activities
- Work closely with the IT Domain Heads in control testing, identify gaps and provide recommendations for remediation
- Oversee IT incident reporting process and ensure IT incidents are properly documented
- Develop and plan for execution of Business Continuity Planning (BCP)/Disaster Recovery exercises annually
- Coordinate IT regulatory inspections and external audit engagement
- Support Tech Risk Lead in managing regular governance meeting
- Leads effort on training to foster strong IT risk culture and awareness to strengthen 1st line of defence
Requirements
- Graduated with (Good Honours/First Class/Second Class Upper) Degree in Information Security, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
- Candidates without working experience are welcomed to apply
- For a Senior Specialist role, at least 3-5 years of experience in technology and cyber risk management, IT compliance, IT audit, or IT security; especially experience from financial institutions or Big4 industries is a plus
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and keen on developing collaborative relationships
- Strong analytical skills to review and analyze data to identify and articulate key issues and propose solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter, always strive for excellence, innovative with service-oriented mindsets and initiative to improve processes
- Good facilitation and presentation skills
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
