- Working with EH&S department to build a culture of personal accountability around behavior based safety and compliance to regulatory requirements.
- Working with site Global Trade & and Ethic officers to establish processes to ensure a compliance culture and reporting of any non-compliance.
- Working with HR department to ensure resources to support on-going business and a leadership development program to nurture and retain talents.
- Implement processes and continuous improvement activities to achieve performance excellence to customers in Quality, Delivery and Cost.
- Working with Finance to develop Annual Operations Plan and execute, track and make adjustment to ensure performance to plan.
- Lead annual policy deployment for site to establish Improvement Targets and A3 Plans to achieve the ITs.
- Developing and executing new growth strategies, including digital and technology modernization to achieve long term plan and vision.
- Minimum Education required (specific field or equivalent):
- Engineering Degree preferable in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Aerospace. Education required may be waived with related work experience.
- MBA and APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) added advantage.
- Minimum years of experience in role:
- At least 15 years of related experience in the Manufacturing industry; and
- At least 8 years demonstrated progressive managerial experience.
- Lean Manufacturing /Toyota Production System knowledge.
- Total Productive Maintenance knowledge.
- 6-sigma green/black belt knowledge.
- Financial and management accounting knowledge.
- Establish a culture of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing.
- Minimum CORE Champion certification.
- Establish a Behavior Based Safety and personal accountability culture.
- Empower line supervisors/managers to stop production when safety is compromised and ensure that actions are in place before restarting production.
- Provide resources to complete annual and targeted training and a retaliation free environment for reporting violation.
- Supports a Quality first culture through continuous improvement, focus build-in process quality and zero escape mindset.
