Job Description:The CompanyAn established maritime engineering and offshore company is seeking a FP&A Manager to join their finance team.The RoleReporting to the Head of Finance and managing one staff member, this role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior management, including the CFO, Managing Director, and Heads of Operations and Engineering. This is a global portfolio role that involves driving financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare monthly Group consolidated maritime financial reports, providing insightful commentary and analysis on performance.
  • Present financial results to top management and ensure the accuracy and completeness of management reports.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, engaging with stakeholders and preparing key presentation materials.
  • Analyze financial data to assess performance, investigate variances, and provide strategic insights.
  • Maintain forecast models for budgeting and financial planning.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts for monthly management reporting.
  • Oversee CapEx management, working capital, and monitoring of bank accounts and loans.
  • Review overhead cost allocations and conduct special cost studies when required.
  • Collaborate with business units to provide performance insights and support KPI achievement.
Your ProfileAs the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:
  • 7 years of experience in FP&A and/or management reporting.
  • Prior Big 4 experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong financial analysis, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with complex financial models.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with a keen eye for process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
