Manage site Health Safety & Environment (FMHSE) and support Facility Management to meet Safety Quality Cost Delivery People (SQCDP) Key Performance Indicators.ResponsibilityHSE Framework
- Support and sustain HSE frameworks and programmes, with inputs from internal stakeholders to align with corporate strategy, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure relevant licenses and certifications are achieved, maintained and valid.
- Responsible to ensure that Business Unit (BU) complies with SAESL's ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Review incident investigation and/or validate completed investigation root cause and submission of the required reports to the required stakeholders
- Work with BU management and stakeholders to implement and sustain the framework/programmes, conduct common cause analysis and propose transformational & innovative projects to mitigate risks related to building, infrastructure, security and HSE.
- Drive programmes based on the fundamentals of the management system, organisation needs and strategies to change culture & improve compliance.
- Provide HSEFM technical inputs in the selection of products/equipment, services and administration of contracts.
- Operationalize FMHSE audit and inspection plan, with timely closure of corrective and preventive actions from various drivers and evaluate/monitor for effective implementation.
- Support ESG programmes to meet Sustainability performance metrics
- Collaborate with all levels of stakeholders to drive Zero Harm and Zero Emission strategy and promote a positive safety, compliance and continuous improvement culture.
- Keep up to date with advancements in best practices and/or new technologies (e.g., Smart Facility, Smart HSE) and project manage key initiatives to improve efficiency, enhance work processes and reduce costs.
- Assist to prepare and present detailed reports to Senior Leadership Team and internal/external stakeholders on projects, performances, key risks and actions.
- Submit reports to external regulatory agencies for HSE legal requirements.
- Project manage HSE projects/initiatives for people safety or cost savings improvements or building and infrastructure addition & alterations.
- Maintain and engage authorities on legal requirements and ISO related procedures including coordination of stakeholder internal and external audits.
- Degree in HSE or Engineering or equivalent Minimum 5-7 years' experience in HSE Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) and Fire Safety Manager (FSM)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in Microsoft Power Platforms (e.g. PowerBI, Power Automate) is preferred
- Good knowledge and understanding of WSH, Fire Safety and Environmental regulations related to manufacturing and building industry (Must have the relevant hands on capabilities and in depth technical knowledge)
- Good understanding and application of management systems with a focus on solutioning and maturing of framework
- Good stakeholder management with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and project management skills
