About The Role

Due to exceptional and sustained growth, we are expanding our sales team in Singapore and are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Account Manager to join us. In this role, you will oversee and manage daily sales operations, handle customer service tasks, and build strong relationships with both customers and vendors. Reporting into the VP Sales - APAC, you will oversee the day-to-day management of two Sales Executive.

This role is primarily office-based, with occasional domestic and international travel to liaise with airlines, external suppliers, and customers as needed. Therefore, a valid passport is required.

Responsibilities

  • Handle RFQs ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Locate components to fulfil customer RFQs when there is no stock at AerFin; obtain and verify price, condition, traceability, availability, and tag information.
  • Take accountability for key customer accounts, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Report on RFQ and sales activities to the external sales team.
  • Translate and present component specifications to meet customer approvals.
  • Process sales orders, pick tickets, and Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs).
  • Work closely with the supply chain team regarding Fair Market Value (FMV) and report feedback to the supply chain leads.
  • Log and prepare quotations in the AerFin Inventory Management System.
  • Manage the processing of incoming purchase orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Generate "Push Lists" of inventory for remarketing activities, optimizing stock turnover.
  • Continuously monitor the marketplace for sales opportunities, identifying potential leads and trends.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain professional relationships with customers.
  • Track and achieve sales revenue and gross margin projections.
  • Conduct periodic visits to key customers and attend trade shows to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager or in a similar sales role.
  • Previous experience in the aviation sector is desirable.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities to manage daily sales and customer service tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenges with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Able to work within a team of highly motivated individuals in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
