What Will You Be Working On

As a Human Resource Career Development Intern, your responsibilities will include:

  • Career Development Planning: Brainstorm and develop initiatives to enhance career development opportunities for officers
  • Conduct Market Research: Research and identify relevant resources and courses for different profiles of officers to support career development and enhancement of employee experience.
  • Development of Career Pathway: Support the development of career pathways, including research on industry trends/benchmark, mapping out progression routes, and aligning with organisational structure and needs.
  • Implementation of Career Portals: Support in setting up/enhancing career development portal, including system configuration, and creating user-friendly guides for employee navigation and use.
  • Involvement in various staff engagement initiatives: Plan and coordinate activities and initiatives to engage various groups of staff.
  • Design Collaterals and Communication Materials: Create collaterals and communication/branding materials to support the HR initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Gain valuable hands-on experience in career development planning and designing of employee experience initiatives.
  • Develop research skills to identify various resources for different employee profiles.
  • Acquire practical knowledge in enhancing employee experience through targeted initiatives.
  • Learn to create effective communication materials for HR initiatives.
  • Develop an understanding of the public service sector and the critical role of HR in a government agency.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or a related field
  • A strong interest in career development and employee experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to take on new challenges

Position is on a full-time internship basis from May to Aug 2025.
