Job description

· Assist on public relation programme in relation to the master work programme to meet the project(s) goals

· To deal with and manage feedback and complaints from the public tactfully and render full support on all press and public relations matters related to the Contract

· Design and disseminate advance notice for works and regular updates to the public through pamphlets, letters and other publicity materials approved by the authorities

· Organise engagement and outreach activities to the public, residents, occupiers in the vicinity and proximity of the works on the impact of the construction activities before each construction stage

· To arrange and attend meetings on public relation matters with project team where necessary

· To prepare a monthly report to update on any feedback and complaints received and the respective actions taken in response

· Arrange for defect inspections in response to feedback by stakeholders

· Record and follow up on feedback until closure of case

· Perform site inspections, handle public concerns and issues

· To promote and maintain a good relationship with the public throughout various stages of the construction project

· Perform other public relations tasks or duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit

Requirements:

· Minimum GCE A Level or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent, with at least 3 years' working related experience as a PRO in the construction industry.

· Resourceful, positive and able to work independently

· A team player with strong sense of responsibility

· Must be able to communicate in both English and Chinese (Mandarin), as the role requires liaising with clients who speak either language.

· Experienced in building construction industry is an added advantage
