
Construction Manager
The Construction Manager (Site Manager) oversees and manages the entire construction site operations. They ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and according to design specifications. The role involves managing contractors, ensuring site safety, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all site activities align with the overall project plan.
Key Responsibilities and Activities:
• Plan, organize, and manage day-to-day site activities to meet project objectives.
• Implement and monitor the overall project schedule execution, address deviations, and ensure project compliance.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, workers and site personnel.
• Ensure that construction activities adhere to approved designs, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor the quality of work and ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues or potential delays.
• Manage and coordinate resources including materials and equipment to optimize utilization efficiency.
• Liaise with project stakeholders (clients, engineers, architects) and provide progress updates.
• Maintain familiarity with local safety management regulations.
• Rigorously enforce on-site health and safety standards as well as safe and civilized construction practices.
• Prepare and submit site progress reports and documentation to the project management team.
• Participate in bids and tenders.
