Social Media Marketing Intern
- Internship, onsite
- Scholarly Pte Ltd
- Singapore, Singapore
Job Description
We are Scholarly, an early EduTech startup looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist Intern (full-time can also be discussed!) to help reimagine how education is marketed in the digital age. Let's make learning engaging, fun, and, most importantly—viral.
Responsibilities:
- Have fun while creating content that stands out.
- Be the face behind the Scholarly social media accounts—your creativity will shape our brand presence.
- Produce and edit high-quality, engaging, and trend-savvy content that resonates across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Stay ahead of trends, memes, and cultural moments to create timely and relevant content.
- Analyse performance metrics to optimize content strategy and engagement.
- Suggest and execute out-of-the-box marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the team, but also take the initiative to execute ideas independently.
Requirements:
- Experience in digital marketing or social media-related roles.
- Fluent English speaker with strong communication skills.
- Solid understanding of social media algorithms and content performance analytics.
- A portfolio showcasing creative content (could be a TikTok, IG Reel, or a meme page—show us what you've got!).
- Video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or any tool that gets the job done).
- Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently—we don’t do micromanagement. If you see an opportunity, run with it!
- A keen sense of humor and meme culture knowledge.
Apply if:
- You instinctively scroll social media for inspiration, not just entertainment.
- Every meme feels like a personal attack (and you know how to make them even better).
- You thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- You want hands-on experience and real impact—your work will directly grow our audience and engagement.
Additional Details:
- Internship Duration: 3-6 months (flexible start date)
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Remote / On-Site in Singapore
- Learning Perks: Exposure to social media marketing, content strategy, digital branding, and data-driven growth strategies. High-performing interns may be considered for a full-time role.
- Eligibility: Open to university/polytechnic students. Singaporeans & PRs preferred.
